Giant Cell Tumour
Just to whet your appetite. The Giant Cell Tumour usually presents with localized pain and swelling, sometimes after trauma or as an incidental finding. It is locally agressive and likely to recur in spite of extensive excision. A small proportion are malignant and the majority of patients present between the ages of 20 and 40 years. The solitary lesion shows a predilection for the bones adjacent to the knee joint and the distal end of the radius.
